The 46th Kansai Student Aikido Competition – June 7th, 2026, at the Sumiyoshi Budokan
The 46th Kansai Student Aikido Competition will be held at the Sumiyoshi Budokan on the 7th June, 2026.
Start time: 9:00 AM.
Venue: The Sumiyoshi Budokan – located behind Sumiyoshi Taisha (Shrine).
Directions: 1. Take a local train on the Nankai Honsen to Sumiyoshi Station. It is a ten-minute walk from the station.
2. Take the Hankai streetcar or tram from Tennoji terminal to Sumiyoshi Taisha Station.
Officials and staff are asked to arrive early to assist with preparations.
As the instructors will be attending the event as competition officials, the General Class afternoon session at Honbu dojo will be canceled on this day. We would greatly appreciate the continued cooperation of all members of the Referee Division and the Examination Division in supporting the tournament’s operation.
The early morning Junior Class (8:30–9:20) and the morning General Class (10:00–11:00) will be conducted as usual.
